Southbury, CT – February 27, 2017. FltPlan Go, FltPlan.com’s free EFB app for iPad, now supports DAC International’s GDC64 Tablet Aircraft Interface Unit (TAIU). FltPlan Go users can transfer a wealth of information, including GPS position, heading, altitude, speed, and track information as well as onboard XM Satellite weather information, including U.S. and Canadian radar, lightning, echo tops, and CIP from the panel into the FltPlan Go app.

The GDC64 connects directly to the aircraft’s power buss and is Part 25-approved. The unit features four ARINC 429 ports allowing for seamless transfer of this complex, real-time data to the FltPlan Go app. The wired connection of the GDC64 offers the added benefit of serving as a safe and approved power supply.

AUSTIN, Texas, January 3, 2017 – DAC INTERNATIONAL INC. (DAC), a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, announced today that it has received a Supplemental Type Certificate for the Esterline CMA-6800 Display for the Sikorsky S76B/C Helicopter. The STC includes the S76C+ and S76C++ models.

Esterline Avionics Systems is a major supplier of cockpit avionics systems and advanced displays to the aerospace market, including airframe manufacturers, airlines, military agencies and government customers around the world.

DAC distributes the CMA-6800 Product line in aftermarket pursuits. DAC currently holds a AML STC that includes the Hawker 800/800xp/1000, Bombardier’s Challenger 601-3A/3R, Dash 8-100/200/300 and its 415 Superscooper, Cessna Citation 650, Dassault Falcon 900, Fokker 50 and the Gulfstream III. In addition the S76 STC is expected in late December to early January 2017 time period. DAC partnered with Peregrine to complete the engineering, test and certification activity required for this STC.

In addition to the certification listed, DAC has received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval and ANAC Approvals.

The AML includes the Hawker 800/800XP/1000, Bombardier’s Challenger 601-3A/3R, Dash 8–100/200/300 and its 415 Superscooper, Cessna Citation 650, Dassault Falcon 900, Fokker 50 and the Gulfstream III.

“This will allow our Mexican customers the opportunity to install the new display and meet the applicable specifications for safe operation in accordance with the Standards, Procedures and Regulations required by the Direcci6n General de Aeronautica Civil (DGAC)” said President of DAC International Cisco Hernandez.

DAC International, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today the renewal of its worldwide distributorship agreement with Northrop Grumman LITEF.

Northrop Grumman LITEF is the Germany-based navigation systems subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Corporation that designs and manufactures highly reliable aircraft flight instrumentation including accelerometers and angular rate sensors, inertial measurement units, attitude and heading reference systems, and hybrid navigation systems. ITVS is a leading supplier of visual inspection products and solutions including videoscopes, surveillance equipment and endoscopic cameras. The units offer owners and operators both financial and technological benefits including reduced weight, power consumption and costs and increased reliability compared to CRT displays. CRT obsolescence risk is eliminated and allows a growth path for additional functionality. The TFD-8601 is currently installed in numerous aircraft worldwide.
