Teledyne Controls is a leading manufacturer of innovative solutions that collect, manage and deliver aircraft data more efficiently. Its product portfolio includes a wide range of data acquisition units, wireless data transfer systems, data distribution and loading solutions and data analysis services

DAC will focus on promoting and selling the PMAT 2000® and the eADL data loading systems along with some other non SFE* hardware systems.

The AS9120B standard quality management systems (QMS) certification builds on the ISO 9001:2015 certification with additional requirements that are specific to aviation, space and defense distributors. The AS9120B certification now meets the new requirements above and beyond those specified in the previous revision AS9120A which addresses risk based thinking, concept of change, organizational knowledge, product safety, counterfeit parts prevention, awareness, and obsolescence.

AUSTIN, Texas, January 9, 2018 – DAC INTERNATIONAL INC. (DAC), a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, announced today that it has added Daniel Boen as a Regional sales manager.

Mr. Boen joins the team with almost 20 years of experience in Sales/Marketing/Account Management. His previous role was senior account manager for Matrix Aviation/Professional Aviation Associates. Prior to that, he was with Rockwell Collins where he gained vast knowledge of their product working both in the repair facility and aftermarket sales division of Intertrade.

In his new role, he will be handling the sales responsibilities for the Western United States in addition to Western Canada. His duties include working with all of DACs current dealers and customers to grow DACs existing base and product lines.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Friends University of Wichita, Kansas.

Mr. Boen will be based in Wichita, Kansas.

Latitude Technologies Corp. is an aerospace engineering and manufacturing company providing flight data monitoring, flight following, and satellite communications equipment and services.

AUSTIN, Texas, October 23, 2017 – DAC INTERNATIONAL INC. (DAC), a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, announced that its GDC31 Roll Steering Converter has received EASA approval (10063292). This EASA approval covers the current FAA Approved Model List (AML) under AML SA10236SC.

The GDC31 Roll Steering Converter receives ARINC 429 label 121 (Horizontal Command Signal, BNR) and RS232 or RS422 serial data in RNAV 0, RNAV 1, King 0 or King 1 format from a GPS navigation system (data formats/connection types vary by installation).  The GDC31 extracts information from the data streams to compute an appropriate roll sum steering signal which holds the aircraft to the Desired Track.

The GDC31 is compatible with most autopilots and is designed to operate with both rate based and position based autopilots.

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct 5, 2017 – DAC INTERNATIONAL INC. (DAC), a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, announced today that it has received a contract and purchase order for the delivery of Northrop Grumman LITEF, LCR100 Attitude Heading Reference System and DAC Manufactured Compass Control Units in support of the USAF, C-21A Avionics Modernization Program from the prime contractor Global Aviation Technologies.

The LCR-100 selected is a Gyro-compassing, north finding unit, employing state of the art Fiber Optic Gyro technology.  The LCR-100 blends inertial and satellite data to provide a hybrid navigation output.  The product is widely used on both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.  DAC International has been representing Northrop Grumman LITEF products for over 20 years.

AUSTIN, Texas, August 1, 2017 DAC INTERNATIONAL INC. (DAC), a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, announced that its latest A-D (Analog-Digital) converter model, the GDC62, has been approved as part of an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) to interface a Garmin GTN series navigator to Sperry AA-300 or Collins ALT-55 radio altimeters.

The GDC62 accepts an analog input from approved radio altimeter models and converts the signal to the ARINC 429 format, compatible with currently available Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS II) digital processors and GPS Receivers. The GDC62 eliminates the need to replace analog radio altimeters when digital-only receivers are installed.

DAC International’s GDC62 was part of a STC issued by the FAA and developed by Columbia Avionics and Aircraft Services, Inc. to allow the Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) A function in the GTN navigator to be enabled. It includes the Cessna models 500, 550, S550, 560, and 560XL.

(DAC), a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, announced today that it has received a Supplemental Type Certificate for the Avionik Straubing Dual Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) Vertical Navigation(VNAV) Converter for the Cessna 525 Citation Jet 1/2/3. The STC includes the C525, 525A and 525B models.

The LPV Converter was developed for all Cessna Citation Jets which are either equipped with the legacy Honeywell SPZ5000 System or with Proline21 without the capability to display Glideslope information on the Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) (EHSI/PFD) and consequently where LPV approaches are not possible.

There is also an EASA STC with the same capability available.
